Research:
My research focuses on the development of HIV vaccines using nucleoside-modified mRNA in lipid nanoparticles (mRNA-LNP) platform. More specifically, I work on in vitro high-throughput screening and in vivo evaluation of mRNA vaccine designs to select the best candidates with desired properties for future studies. My work is part of a large pipeline at DHVI for mRNA vaccine development. Additionally, I’m also interested in the basic immunological mechanisms of how mRNA-LNP vaccine works.
Outside of my own research, I’m always eager to take advantage of the diverse cutting-edge research projects happening at DHVI and try to learn as much new things as possible. Recently I have been spending some time learning about structural biology.
