Heather Desaire is the Dean’s Professor of Chemistry at the University of Kansas. Her research interests span the fields of glycobiology, mass spectrometry, and machine learning. She has been collaborating with researchers at the Duke Human Vaccine Institute for over 15 years, characterizing glycosylation on HIV-1 Env. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Chemistry from Grinnell College, Grinnell, IA.
